What comes to mind when you think of McDonald’s? Perhaps affordability, consistency, or maybe their iconic French fries. When you grab your fry order from the drive-through, there’s no need to peek inside the bag. You’re certain of what’s in there: fries that are warm, crispy, and seasoned with just the right touch of salt. This level of reliability is something you can expect, from San Antonio to El Paso.
Did you know that McDonald’s takes great pride in this consistency? They achieve it through standardized operations, an efficient supply chain, and thorough crew training. Moreover, the uniform appearance of their buildings and parking lots across locations is intentional, designed to solidify their commitment to a consistent customer experience.
Tree Maintenance at over 30 McDonalds Locations
At Canopy Tree Service, we’re intimately familiar with this commitment because we maintain the trees at over 30 McDonald’s locations in the San Antonio area. We have been providing tree care for local McDonalds for many years.
Our work involves aesthetic trims and safety inspections to prevent pedestrian injuries or vehicle damage. By ensuring that the trees at each site are healthy, well-kept, and aligned with McDonald’s aesthetic standards, we help uphold the brand’s promise of consistency and reliability to their customers. As a proud Texas-based company, it’s an honor to contribute to the upkeep of such an iconic brand in our state. Our efforts at McDonald’s reinforce a sense of familiarity and reliability for the customers.
Consistent Aesthetic Trims and Safety Inspections
Take the McDonald’s at Wurzbach Rd and Babcock Rd in San Antonio’s Medical Center area, for example. Here, our goal was to enhance safety in the drive-through area. We identified a structurally weak limb. Our certified arborist recommended it be removed.
Improving the Drive Thru at Wurzbach & Babcock Rd
Like McDonald’s, Canopy Tree Services is dedicated to delivering our services with unwavering consistency. Our typical tree care project requires a three-person crew. They begin their day with a project briefing and safety inspection of trucks and PPE. After completing their preparations, they proceed to the job site. The first task there is to position our vehicles and set up the work zone perimeter with safety cones. On a job this size, we typically send one crew member up the tree wearing PPE and climbing the tree with ropes.
First we remove the smaller branches. These are then fed into our chipper for recycling. Then two crew members, one in the tree and one on the ground carefully lower the limb to the ground . Before the tree pruner leaves the tree, he consistently paints the wounds of oak trees with black paint to deter the spread of oak wilt. Oak wilt is a serious tree disease. At certain times of year, painting the wounds is important.
As a local enterprise, it’s our privilege to serve the community and play a role in maintaining the legacy of iconic brands such as McDonald’s. We look forward to continuing our partnership with McDonald’s and providing consistent, top-notch tree services to the San Antonio area. If you choose Canopy Tree Services for your next tree care project, we will take care of trees as if they were our own. Our reviews may help you to choose our company over a competitor.
